Reference guides contain extra information about a product or family of products to help operate the product and to provide background information.

Data sheets contain specifications and instructions applicable to a specific component or product, not to the entire family of products.

Gateways

Gateways are the master devices for Banner's wireless networks.

Nodes

Nodes are the slave devices within Banner's wireless networks. These Nodes are powered by 10 to 30V dc and come in a variety of input/output options.

FlexPower™ Nodes

FlexPower Nodes may be powered by either 10 to 30V dc or by a variety of FlexPower supplies. Like the 10 to 30V dc Nodes, the FlexPower Nodes are available in a variety of input/output configurations.

Expanded Remote I/O

The expanded remote I/O devices have a Modbus interface and are used to expand the I/O of a Gateway or Modbus host.

Accessories

Accessories for Banner's SureCross products include power supplies, specially configured low-power sensors for use with the battery operated Nodes, expanded I/O modules, and host-connected interface devices.

Configured Kits

Configured kits contain one Gateway and one or more Nodes. The inputs and outputs of these devices are mapped and configured at the factory, simplifying setup and installation.

Software

The User Configuration Tool allows a user to map the I/O between a Gateway and its Nodes. This tool requires Banner's USB to RS-485 adapter cable.

Before installing the User Configuration Tool, read these instructions. Install the software before plugging a Gateway into your computer. The most recent version of these instructions may be found online. (Online version)

To install the User Configuration Tool, click on the Install Software link, then double click on the .MSI file in the directory window.
